Somerset Market Towns Forum is an example of partnership working and is hosted by the Community Council for Somerset and supported by The South West Regional Development Agency and Somerset County Council.

The Somerset Market Towns Forum brings together representatives of market and coastal towns and larger villages across Somerset in a network, to share issues of common concern, and help in the economic, social and environmental regeneration of local communities.
The Forum also acts as a voice for Somerset Market Towns in discussions with other bodies and forums, and is now part of a regional body, the South West Market and Coastal Towns Network. The Forum is hosted by the Community Council for Somerset and financially supported by the South West Regional Development Agency and Somerset County Council.
