The
Hall's History
Sadly, West Camel outgrew its Church Hall.. There
wasn’t room to expand it or park any cars so, with mixed feelings, in
1998 we decided we’d build a new Hall to accommodate all the things
everyone wanted to do. We were given some land and four hard working
years later we opened THE DAVIS HALL, WEST
CAMEL.
Built in 2001, The ‘Davis’ Hall, named after the
farmer on whose land it is built, is designed to accommodate a wide
variety of activities but is more a community hall than a sports hall
 | Easily accessed from the A303 London to Exeter trunk road |
 | Set in a rural site 100 yards back from the road |
