MOORLAND HALL, WHEDDON CROSS

The Moorland Hall in Wheddon Cross is ideally suited for any event.  With new facilities and a lick of paint the hall is much more user friendly.

Wheddon Cross/Cutcombe is the highest village on Exmoor, and is situated on the crossroads
of the main routes that run between Minehead and Dulverton (from north to south A396) and
from Taunton through to North Devon (from east to west B3224)

The History of the Moorland Hall

Built in 1934, the Moorland Hall was so called as it served many communities on Exmoor, not just Wheddon Cross.  Redevelopment took place in 2005.  The hall was officially reopened by the Earl of Wessex on 15th September 2006.
