Hallmark visitors were particularly impressed by aspects of the management of some halls and wanted to acknowledge this through the presentation of additional awards.

In Mendip the visitors were impressed with the continued high standard of management and awarded the Mendip Shield to Rode Village Hall.

In Sedgemoor the visitors spoke of the good working relationship among the officer and their very comprehensive Fire Risk Assessment which included the main user groups holding fire drills.  The Philip Johnson Cup was awarded to Westonzoyland Community Centre.

In South Somerset the award went to a first time entrant for Hallmark.  The visitors considered this hall to be well run and were very impressed with the way that hall committee had encouraged new users.  The South Somerset Sheild was awarded to Barton St David Village Hall.

In Taunton Deane the continued high standard of management of this hall meant that the Taunton Deane Cup was awarded to Ruishton.

In West Somerset a hall that serves a small community on Exmoor is very much the centre of community social activity, have acheived in recent years both improvements to  the hall and maintained Hallmark 1.  The West Somerset Pearce Sheild to Hawkridge Village Hall.
