BATCOMBE JUBILEE HALL
Our Hall is a complex, consisting of 2 buildings - the modern Jubilee Hall and the historic Old School. It is set in the heart of a charming village, nestling in a picturesque valley in the heart of rural Somerset.
The main building provides excellent modern facilities in a large, light, airy building, whilst the Old School offers more traditional, intimate spaces, but still with up to date amenities.
Batcombe and its Hall complex is situated about 7 miles south-east of Shepton Mallet, 9 miles west of Frome, 23 miles north of Yeovil, and 27 miles south of Bristol.
The Jubilee Hall replaced an earlier structure, and was only completed in 2002. It was officially opened by HRH Prince Charles in May of that year. The Old School dates from Victorian times and was saved for the community by the Village Hall Trust in 1992. It was extensively refurbished to a high standard in 1999.
Our facilities are well suited to all kinds of events, including weddings (the imposing Parish Church of St. Mary's is adjacent). They include : -
