MILBORNE PORT VILLAGE HALL
Springfield Road, (off Station Road), Miborne Port
It is sign- posted at the junction with the A30 and also at Station Road.
The Village Hall, built in 1982, together with the Playing Fields and Children's Play area is situated in Springfield Road, which is off Station Road. The Hall has a large (50 +) free Car Park adjoining plus Disabled parking.
Large enough for Badminton or four mats of Short Mat Bowls etc. Has a large curtained stage with professional stage electrics, rear access to the stage on both sides can be made from the Camelot Room. Kitchen equipped with two cookers, fridge, kettles and plenty of worktops. Toilets including disabled. It also has a small adjoining room suitable for use as a bar with it's own exit door. Upstairs at the rear of the Hall is a Balcony Room, which has windows looking down into the Hall and can be used as a quiet seating room for parties etc. Hall suitable for up to 250 people for use as a party venue, dancing or theatrical use etc. Present users include Majorettes, Badminton, Mothers and Toddlers, Short Mat Bowls, Keep Fit, Ballroom Dancing etc
Has it's own separate entrance with disabled access and is a smaller room which is totally self contained with it's own kitchenette and toilets including disabled. Licensed for 80 people or less sat at tables it is suitable for Conferences, Small Parties or meetings, Bridge or Computer classes.
The Hall is run by an elected management committee which meets bi-monthly. All local organisations are asked to nominate a representative for this committee.
