Otterford Parish Hall is conveniently situated between the A303 (about 1 mile) and the B3170 in the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

 

For those coming from further afield the hall is located 8 miles from Junction 25 of the M5 and only 1 mile from the A303 - an ideal location for the South West Region of England.

 

 

 

The Hall's History

 

Newly built in 1997 to an exacting standard, the hall is just a few miles from Taunton, Chard, Ilminster and Honiton. Car parking is available for up to 35 cars with additional parking by arrangement.

 

Full access and services for the disabled including a separate specialist w.c., ramp access and hearing loop.

 

The Hall boasts a wealth of features:

  • Large recreation/meeting hall for up to 300
  • Stage for theatrical and other performances
  • Committee Room which can also double as a bar
  • Store Room/Dressing Room with w.c.
  • 25 tables each seating 8 people, 150 cushioned chairs
  • Large Kitchen fitted with a range of floor and wall cupboards, commercial electric range cooker, separate oven and grill, microwave oven, commercial warming cabinet, range of large saucepans, crockery and cutlery to serve 150 people.
  • PA System with hearing loop

 

Regular bookings include drama groups, sporting clubs, W.I, whist drives, tea dances, The Blackdown Hills Partnership, and many other local businesses.

 

Our Parish Hall is a very popular venue for wedding receptions and parties.
It is also available for conferences and business meetings at very competitive rates.
