Karen Street, Andy Tweed & Andrew Barrett
present - L’Esprit du Jazz. Another chance to catch
this musical trip after their popular 2007 Somerset tour.
With shades of Django Reinhardt, tango, swing and a few original
compositions, these three great musicians create a lush and
evocative sound. Karen Street, ranked among the top accordionists,
and Andy Tweed, well known on the saxophone scene, are joined by
one of the West Country’s busiest guitarists, Andy Barrett, and
combine their talents to bring you the coolest of

jazz.

Serenoa

Linking classical style with traditional African & Irish music.
The Serenoa String quartet is based in the South West of England.
Their work includes a wide range of classical styles with a
particular focus on people and places. Inspired by the landscape
of the West Country and the people who live there. Serenoa play
and commission new music which is inspired by a diverse range of
cultures. Serenoa have collaborated with clarinetist Chris
Gradwell and internationally renowned mbira player Chartwell
Dutiro |
